Benbow Farm house. Just six weeks after their baptism, John and Jane Benbow sold their farm and with fifty of their fellow saints emigrated to Nauvoo. They financed the journey for many of their fellow saints with money from the farm sale.

Hill Farm...Often referred to as the "Benbow's Farm. Was the home of John and Jane Benbow. Wilford Woodruff arrived her on 3 March 1840. Thirty days after his arrival he had baptized forty-five preachers and one hundred and sixty members of the United Brethren Church. By December around 1,200 had been baptized (300 of them by Wilford)
