We thought we knew when the call would arrive, Wednesday of course. However, we were required to exercise our faith (and patience) as we waited three extra days before it finally came in the mail on Saturday! Niel had been told that all of the England Temple mission assignments (Preston and London) had been filled through 2014 as they are two of the most requested missions by senior couples. Although it would be a dream fulfilled to serve there, Niel and Carolee were happy to serve wherever they were needed. In short, we had all come to terms with the fact that they would not be serving in England. We all made our guesses before the call was opened.
Who can guess where they are going? Grandpa wrote it all down and paid the winners $20 each!
We all gathered around to hear them read the wonderful news! And what a surprise it was!

They leave May 27th and will serve for 18 months. Now the real preparation begins!
